We are also asked to advise on constructing a portfolio of equities and bond in European and US markets. Our approach is always to use listed passive index tracker funds, from Vanguard or Blackrock iShares, which are low cost, audited by third parties, highly liquid, and provide instant diversification. We work with local business owners to explain the characteristics of such investments, and tailor these to their life stage - childrens' inheritance, current concentrations of wealth in their primary business and country, and retirement plan.
